I have some experience with the video/camera setup in the 150 Prado. I've integrated a 12v camera mounted on my camper-trailer into the Prado's video screen when the trailer is connected. Have also installed a 2-camera dashcam/recorder in a earlier car (not my Prado, though).

My (Jan 2017) Prado is also an ex-hire car that was used in WA's goldfields/mines (according to the service history). I also found a cable pair coiled up in the dash cavity. I asumed that this was either for a two-way or the trailer brake controller. It (or both) were removed before I bought the car.
However, I don't know what is going on with your car or it's wiring. Maybe someone else knows what can cause 10 (or multiple) beeps. That might give you lead on what is going on.
