Hi Mitch

The clearance under the front looks quite low, is this because the bar and plates have been fitted and no suspension upgrade to counter the weight. Have you measured the difference from new to modified?

My 150 with Mickey Thompson 265/70/17's and a OME standard suspension (apparently you get 50mm on the 150 front end) 36lbs in the tyres, ARB steel bar, dual batteries, spotties, other small bits and pieces under the bonnet has 280mm clearance under the front end (just measured it and found some more mud from the last 2011 GTG recce ).

Yeah bud, that looks a bog standard FJ with no lift matey, hence the low clearance.

^^^ Toyota have been busy in the design department since the early 90's by the looks of it, nearly the same as the early model prados! (pic below)
Although id love one of those with the v8. Any idea if they will make it to aus? Doubt it, too good to be true

Guess what.. It isn't a v8.
It has the prado v6... maybe on the SWB chassis still?
But its a coiled solid front axle. Be noice to swap that into the prado.
