Muddy's 150 GXL......

Ok peoples it about time i get a few pics of the big girl up ( hope i can figure out how to post pics).
I've had my 150 for 12 months now and the only mod was a set of 20" grab 6 rims hence the avatar pic.........well it time to mod her up.
It all started with sending to factory rims to the painters for a fresh coat of glass back and a set of 265/70r17 Cooper S/T Maxx,
while that was in the making i installed a Chip It chip to up the HP added a uni filter and Safari snorkel and 3" custom exhaust provided by Cleveland Exhausts (now we can hear the turbo).

Now the lift kit was ordered from EFS (thanks Garth) giving me a 65mm lift which i installed the other day.

The bar ordered was the TJM T3 bar, which is getting coloured coded this week and a set of narva 225 spotties which i got for a very good price :wink:

next is a side awning any brand i should go ???? not too cluey in this dept.

Looking good! Love the black rims. Have they been powder coated or is it 2 pac? Ive considered the new ST Maxx, but they dont make a 275/70/17. The whole package so far is great.

The rims have been done in 2 pac and am very pleased with the job, as for the 275 ST Maxx i think they will be here start of next month.

I can highly recommend the Foxwing awning by Rhino Rack. I've used it a few times now and the extra cover you get is well worth the price. It poured with rain a couple of weeks ago and we have 6 people comfortably under it with room to spare.

I know the feeling mate, I went though the same process. Except for me, the bar was the first things to go on. Seeing as you already have black rims I reckon a gloss black bar would be the next logical step

Sweet set of shoes you've got there Mudguts. I've seen black rims on dark colour prados and they look great - this is the first set I've seen on white and have to say it definately give the truck a tougher look. Can't wait to see the pics with the bar fitted.

Let me know what awning you go for - I'm in the market for one as well and have read good reviews for the gunyah anwing.
