2011 VX prado fully kit

Am new to this forum and new to prado ownership!

I recently bought a 2011 VX prado and want to gradually fully kit it out to be able to go all the way to the tip and back at the end of next year.

Does anybody have any suggestions/recommendations?

Welcome aboard!

I would recommend that you spend a few days reading throught this forum to see what others have done to work out what mods will suit your needs. There's so much that you can do to you new car if your budget allows

This Rig Build Up section is a great place to start.

1. Snorkel
2. 2 inch lift, but work out what else you want first as you will need different springs if you are also going to get a bulbar and winch etc.
3. A good set of tyres.
4. And if you are new to four wheel driving – join a club that can provide training

5. dual battery set up with high amp plug in rear for fridge/s

Expensive setup just to go to the tip, I use my Prado for nice long trips and my company ute to go to the tip, it does not make the interior smell then, hehe!

Seriously but have a look at either mine, VXWesty's, Williams or Giles's builds up for a start however there are quite a few good builds now on PP to get you started.

However it does take a bit of cash and according to my wife this is now what our money tree looks like...
