Been busy lately with my build up about time to show some pic's first is the roo system.The exhaust is all stainless and 3".The dump pipe is not 3"all the way though. For a while now I have had this vibration noise come and go around the area of the snorkel.A couple of weeks ago the noise started and didn't stop so I did a bit of checking.When I looked between the guard and the snorkel I could see a bit of thread coming from the snorkel into the guard which thought was odd.I figured that some how the nut had come loose and the thread was causing the vibration noise up against the guard.Now this snorkel was fitted by TJM 4x4 accesories in jesmond newcastle 18 months ago.When I took the iner guard of to fix the problem I noticed that the threaded rod had no nut on it.Some how it worked it's way of but how is this possible because the rest of the mounting nut's were NYLOCK.So it is obviouse they did not put it on because it was a little hard to get to and lunch had arrived from the local take away so the owner won't know and we won't rust proof the holes we drilled to mount the snorkel either the burgers are getting cold.And hey he won't know he aint gona notice it.But what they didn't know is I am a little fanaticle with my prado a little bit over the top maybe at time's so being a little suspicious of their work I decided to take the snorkel off and my suspiciouns were right.Ok I may be a little over the top for what the pic's show it is only surface rust at the moment.But how would it look in 5 years time or even 10.By the way I didn't purchise this rig to keep it for 3 or so years I love this ride and I intend to keep PRADI for a long time.Hey thank you TJM in newcastle you guy's are gold.PS I haven't mentioned the roof basket which I had to redo either.Thats another story...
