Finished all the wiring for the spotlights yesterday. Not a real lot of options to mount relays and the like without drilling holes so I mounted it as best I could for the time being. I'll put some more thought into it and relocate the relay and fuse holder later.
I can't mount the lights until Monday when the front bar goes on, but I thought I would hook the lights up just to make sure everything would work as intended. I was very disheartened to find that only one light would illuminate. I swapped the lights onto the opposing ballasts and the opposite light would light up, so both lights were ok. Anyway, long story short, because it took me a while to work out what was going on, it appears that one of the plugs was assembled incorrectly from the factory, with the positive where the negative should be. I can plug the ballast in upside down, it just means that the little locking clip has nothing to lock onto, so will contact Lightforce and see if they will either send me out a correct plug assembly or instruct me on how to pull this plug apart.

Firstly a big "thumbs up" to Lightforce for a quick response and excellent customer service. They are sending me out a replacement plug for the one that is incorrectly wired, no questions asked.
Also a thumbs up to ARB in Mackay who did a great job of fitting my bar and snorkel for me today. They even bolted my lights on the bar for me while they were going. There was a tiny scratch on the bar, nothing that would have worried me too much and the free ARB camping chair made me forget all about it
So, on with the pics! She actually looks like a fourby now, much improved.
And a bit of HID goodness, can't wait till it gets dark and I can take these for a burn.
That's about it for now, hopefully the winch goes on tomorrow.

Thanks guys. The jury is still out on the lights, I'll reserve judgement until I've used them for a while. They are bright, there's no doubting that. The colour of the light is maybe very slightly blue, certainly makes the stock lights look very yellow, and very dull. I'm thinking I will throw a combo cover on one of them for a bit more spread or possibly upgrade the stock high beams to HID to match.Silver 150 D4D Manual. Forgot to pack the camera, but we fitted the Tigerz11 winch today. A mate with a 200 series just fitted the same winch to his rig and hadn't tested it yet so we went bush and found a hill to pull ourselves up. Quite happy with the power and operation of the winch

Custom Rockers is the place to go for all those style of switches. As soon as they have the ones I want for my winch back in stock I'll be wiring my winch in so it can be operated from the cabin with no leads and no wireless remotes.
