After a lot of research and thinking time, i've decided instead of spending any more $ on the Prado and chasing more power, bigger wheels etc, i should just move on.
So she's now on the market as is except a few items that i can easily transfer to another 4wd. Probably a bit overpriced but i thought i'd see what interest i get.
I may start splitting most of the mods from the sale (except the bar work) e.g. drawers, wheel carriers etc if i think it's worth doing. Feel free to contact me if your interested in anything may be we can work out a deal.
Thanks Madkore. 70 series dual cab is on the cards... owned a 200 series in the past and not quite what i'm after. Looking to go down the path of a tougher rig, in a ute form with a alloy canopy setup for touring
Add $1000 to your offer and they're yours but i'd rather keep them for now
Ah Matt, so sad but I half expected it. While I didn't look too heavily at the dual cab 70's, what I know of them, comfort doesn't spring to mind. But maybe that has changed with the 79 series?
As you know the Prado has been on the market - only for a few weeks. As it seems no one is really willing to pay a dollar over what a standard one in worth which is fine. It's just not meant to be
So i've decided to hold on to it for now. I've been searching for more power and storage (hence why i was looking to upgrade) so i am now going to look at chip, exhaust, get the 285's on and see how we go. All going well, may look at a camper too - Just trying a few options at the moment with quick setup tents etc but nothing would beat the storage of a camper trailer.
Look forward to hanging around on here and hopefully still meeting up with some PP members soon.
It is a pity no one was willing to pay what it deserves mate. But better keeping it then giving it away I think. Looking forward to seeing it with more work done to it!

Well.... change of plans haha! I ended up taking a deposit for the Prado over the weekend. Thankfully to someone who appreciates Prados and has owned a few himself. He got a great deal and I'm sure he'll be happy with it. He picks it up around new years.
Will have to post up a picture of the new rig when i get her. Will take a bit of time as I'm hoping to get the lift and tyres engineered prior to rego which looks like a bit of a process!
