Hey Joey
Congratulations on your fantastic car.
Your car is noticed, also in Norway.
There are several things being discussed here, including the power increase of the engine.
We are very interested in hearing more about what you have done to your engine.
Especially this with boost on turbo. You write that you have mounted turbo boost controller.
Here is the big question: how much psi can this engine stand?.
You drive up to 17 psi, after what I have understood?.
Do you take a calculated risk?
Very grateful for any feedback here

I am running the boost currently at 15.5 psi....with the K&N filter , snorkel , boost increase . chip and hight flow 3 inch exhaust i have gained a massive increase of power and performance.
With the boost up my turbo is winding up at 1300 rpm..
correct on the boost controller which is adjustable. As is the DP chip...Once on the Dyno we match fuel to air ratio and chip to boost....
As for running a risk i have had no issues thus far and have taken the rig every where in all extremes now for 2 years..
cheers.

Absolute difference with the scoop.
Not only in the feel of the engine , but also the decrease in the temp coming through the pipe.
average 300-400 dec under load now.

Then it is clear that the scoop has an important function!.
300-400 degrees Fahrenheit sounds a lot, but you know.
Nice to know that it's not just show off, and that it actually has this effect on exhaust temperature.
Have made contact with Taipan for deals on 3 "exhaust to my car.
Should be exciting to get this installed, and Hi-Lux scoop.
When it comes to lowering the temperature of the engine and reduce friction, I have chosen to buy the oil from the United States.
It's called Royal Purple and have lots of nice features.
Here are some of the benefits:
400% Stronger oil film strength - reduces wear
300 to 500% larger oxidation stability - Increases oil life
1.5 to 3.0% increase in horsepower and torque
3 - 5% Savings in fuel better than other "energy-saving oil"
> 20% Reduces harmful exhaust emissions
Up to 12% reduction in engine heat

i had these custom made from ARB Cairns...Heavy duty canvas seat covers from a local company..
they have big pockets at the back and a wallet pocket in the front..Not cheap but very good quality..

Boys at ARB had them made and delivered to my door within 36 hrs for the 4wd Monthly photo shoot..excellent service from the guys!
