Well tonight i fitted up my boost controller....oh what fun in 100 per cent humidity....

firstly big thanks to Mick L for the thread and the expertise in these areas...made my job easy...

well started by pulling the engine to pieces






next was a real pain as if you didnt have tiny fingers( i dont ), you were in for a hell of a time...

time to connect new hose to the wastgate pie and off the turbo....it took ages but got it done !!!





time to put it all back together...
meat meets metal.....metal wins....told you it was tight in there!!!!



bought one of these from the states a while back and has improved vacum and i think it has been working a treat for the past 6 months...



this is the boost controller...top quality and excellent warranty and service ..made in melbourne ..turbo tech its called..



this is all the bits back on...



and now with boost controller...not a permanent spot just trial for now...



will do all the tests 2morrow..

well today i took the rig down to Lee Holmans special vehichle service for a run on the dyno..and a tweak or 2..

i was amazed at the difference from standard....

kw at the wheels...88kw...(thats with the stt's).....

torque ...520 N.M

motive force.....4977.5 N

running at 14.7 p.s.i

my rig standard is only 97kw at the fly wheel.....and torque is 370 .n.m

so as the stats say a massive increase in power.....
and it feels better 2..

we adjusted the chip and the fuel to air mix is better...

well i am happy as...

here is the latest and easy mod... wheel spacers..



high tensile bolts10mmx50mmx1.25mm thread pitch.

the spacers are nylon that has been turned on the lathe.

my rig might have a few scratches but it has been tested and measured , and proven itself many times .. i know she will take me where ever i want to go...dont be frightened to give them a bit of stick.. you will be pleasently surprised!!!!

Awesome rig mate...

If i did half of that (and I want to) to the blank black canvas that I call my own... um, cough.. the handbrake's! I'd be in so much trouble... ops:
I might have to wait until this one is paid for and I buy here the newer model, before i can really go to town on the mods!!!
