Gday guys. This site has been great for me before and after I got my 120 4 or 5 months ago. I thought I would post what I have done to her, with what goodies, and problems I ran into along the way.
I am a little impatient, so didn't really get too many, or any pics before I started my build up. But she was a bog stock 2007 v6 gxl with the sat nav/traction control/downhill assist package thingy. Around 135km on the clock back then.
This was the one pic I thought to take as I was in the midst of putting in the suspension lift kit.

This will end up being some long winded rant so for a tldr version, here is whats on her so far
dobinson/billy suspension from zordo
color coded xrox bar
runva 9500 comp winch
ebay led work/fog lights http://tinyurl.com/qyok3vw
ebay 8 inch led spotlights http://tinyurl.com/ox3c5q3
advanti typhoon 17x8 p20 wheels https://www.jaxtyres.com.au/wheels/b...lish?pid=85708
Achilles Desert Hawk X-MT Tyres https://www.jaxtyres.com.au/tyres/br...x-mt?pid=73843
Being in south east qld, and due to his reputaion, I went to Zordo for my lift, and sprung (heh) for the dobinson/billy set up. I had ordered an xrox bar and planned for a winch so he suggested the 302 springs for the front, and whatever springs I wanted for the rear. I tried the comfort springs (325) for a week, wasn't happy with them. They just didn't match the front in feel at all, and were too low. Quick call to Zordo, He knew what I was calling about before I even told him. A quick swap over at no charge/no fuss. Now I have the 327 springs, and everything is riding great.
After I installed the bull bar and winch, and after a few weeks to settle, the ride heights are as follows;
front: 802 (bottom circlip position, as recommended, out of the 4. Yes 4.)
rear: 830-845 fuel empty-full
I followed the guide I found here for the suspension install, (no spring compressors) with a few extra tips from Zordo, and everything went fine. I actually found the front easier to do than the rear. The guide and pics make it very easy.
Next up was the xrox bar and runva 9500 comp winch
If installing this winch in an xrox, you will need an offset hawse, and you will need to mod your clutch lever. It will not fit otherwise. Pics coming of what I did. Also, need to get a skinny number plate, shit just doesn't fit, as you can see in pics.
The fog light replacements I got from ebay do the job fine, but make the radio screech like hell, and at 60 degrees are probably way too wide a pattern. I doubt I'll ever really use them, but they do light up way out to the sides. There are 30 degree versions that would be better.
The spotlights are great. Considering I got the 8 inch versions to fit inside the bar, and the most popular size is the 9 inch.. They are full on daylight. I feel sorry for people coming the other way I don't see straight away, and for the kangaroos on the road, and possums in the trees I blind.
I kept the at22's on the toyota rims for day to day use, since its the mrs car through the week. (seeing a pattern here)
And put the muds on when we take it out on some tracks. Bought 5 through jax, with tyres and they did a deal where as the rims only cost slightly more than the cheapie steel jobbies.
Here are some pics of whats been going on with it so far.
