  • Success, my new replacement In Dash Sat Nav arrived today from Asad at Extreme Electronics and the reverse camera works!, this new model has a few little upgrades as well so I expect China tried to off load some old model stock onto him. All buttons on the steering wheel now work with exception to voice control... Thats Ok my iPhone has that as well.

I also finally mounted the Scan Gauge in a more permanent spot and ran the cable under the dash mat and then down the door jam trim, cannot see the cable at all so i am very happy. I also picked up a ARB Fridge Slide and Bushranger cargo area cover and ordered my Drifta Roller Draws!

Tomorrow, time permitting I will run the front camera cables and install it to just below the Toyota badge on the front grill.

      • Hehe, Abigail is giving Lawry and I between 7am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm as do what ever we want time, However 11pm to 4am seems to be reserved for feed her and keep Daddy awake time... Going OK this week but come 6pm-ish I could easily go into a good slumber. My saving grace is a 747 could land on my roof and I would not hear it, pisses Lawry off too!

Thanks, I cannot believe how many times I had the centre console in and out, it was a trying experience but happy to report there is no rattles at all, you would think it would but with all of the extra cabling, HD TV box and a few other bits and pieces. You retain all of the yellow Toyota clips and it fits like a glove. My only annoyance is the hazard light switch being upside down but a fellow PP'er who bought at the same time as I has sourced some from overseas that suit the LHD model. Fingers crossed it will fit but I cannot see why not.

            • Just think if you are very unlucky the hazard switch will be the right way round when you actually need to press it :-(

              • I must say that screen looks much better than the LCD that came from Toyota. You think from the price of what you paid for it, it should have been a standard inclusion in the vehicle when you bought it. Can't wait to see it in person.

All in all my favorite build of a 150.
