35 "conversion does not require reinforcement of the suspension on the car, although this certainly makes sense to upgrade.

When a vehicle is raised, the handling changed. An increase in track width will make the car more stable. Therefore, a modification to Arctic Trucks, as they do, to recommend.
In that sense one would think that this was sensible arguments in Australia too?
Wow -52 offset is wide. I absolutely agree with the stability argument, but such a track change would never be approved here. The total maximum track change we can make to IFS vehicles here in Australia (NSW) is 25mm, and that's a concrete rule, no engineer can override it. So if we tried to fit overly wide tyres within that limitation, we quickly run into rubbing issues on the inner side, such as the upper/lower, arms, etc. This is one of the reasons I have skinny tyres.

Next issue is finding skinny 35's. I'm not sure if there are any radial construction ones available. I know there are several BIAS construction (Simex) tyres in that size, but BIAS isn't road legal here.

Another limitation we have is that headlights cannot be 1200mm or higher. Mine are about 1150 ~ 1155, so technically, I could go a little more than 1 inch higher (35's).

When 35's are fitted to Artic Prado's 90/120/150, is the original wheel base maintained? ie, does the front axle/tyres get moved forward, or the rear axles/tyres moved back?

The wheels are moving freely in the wheel house on these modifications.
No relocation of axles on the AT 35 conversions.

The rear axle is moved 30mm rearward of the AT 37
There is a big difference between the AT 35 and AT 37 even though they look the same.
Much more extensive work on AT 37

But if we have first built an AT 37, it goes nicely with the 38 ".
This is called the 2 foot disease. If you have an object, you will always have a little more

The very wide rim offset and large tyres must place a large amount of additional strain on the original axles and bearings - are they still original, or upgraded? Are bearing failures common?

"2 foot disease" - haven't heard that term before but I know exactly what you mean (and I probably have it).

The term is used among the builders of boats here in Norway.
When you have a boat of 25 ', will your neighbor think of one at 27 "and so on, he he

Yes Axel and bearings are still original. Works great, and have not heard that this is a problem.
The only thing I have done is to mount the 45mm IronMan suspension kit

I have however seen some parts of the suspension that I could imagine.
Have saved some pictures but gets a little searching to find them. winter job.

But some tips on seat covers in sheepskin I'll gladly take. Price and where to order?

Looks great Bjorn, glad I was able to help.

It is a pity you guys aren't allowed the ARB bullbar, that would really finish your rig off nicely!

              Cheers Andrew

Thanks for the feedback regarding the car.

A lot I want to do, and have found much inspiration in the Prado Point forum.
                  For example, protection plates.
In anticipation of new, I dipped the original in the electroplating bath.
Sand-blasted parts first. Assembled with stainless steel screws.

                  Could imagine RASTA aluminum sheets

My amazing 120 Arctic Trucks is now sold.

What is natural to do then when i have sold my beloved Arctic Trucks, the construction of a new Arctic Trucks of course.
Handover in the middle of februari. I'm really looking forward to this.

Have never bought a new car before, so this is my first.
Something interesting was the fact that I got more back for my 120, after having owned it for 1.5 years and covered 40,000 km on it. These cars are coveted items on the used market.

The new car is a LC 150 pearl white with black executive leather, big navigation and Webasto diesel heater.
In addition, the chrome bar in the front, and Viair onboard air kit. 2 x 400cc compressor with air outlet in the engine compartment.
The price will be about 130,000 AUD!.

Adds a picture of Arctic Trucks car. Min is identical to this one.

Has a very good feel for this, and am looking forward to getting my new car

Now I just have to wait to Arctic Trucks are ready to cut and welded in the new body!
Actually, pure madness, but it is nice!, And they are pros

                        Clearly Hutch.
The car will be built with "only" 35 "tires.

This AT influenza is a highly contagious and expensive affair to treat.

The car will be treated inside and out with Diamond Brite.
It is purported that after this two-step process never again need to polish the car.
This requires that you use Diamond Brite shampoo and Conserve when washing the car.
It will also be inserted with the products inside the car on the surfaces of textiles and leather.

Last time I took the whole round of internal to external cleaning and polishing, it took 15 hours.
Never black car with me again, even though few things are so great that a polished black car.

Attach some pictures I took at Arctic Trucks of a similar 150 in black. great
As they say on Arctic Trucks, we just finish a half-finished product

Yes totally agree with you, but a true hell to keep it neat.
I am at least finished with black cars.

Is there anyone here who has some experience with Rigid Industries LED lights?
Considering a 40 "SR-Series Hybrid LED Light bar between the rails on the roof.
This will provide 12,800 lumens!. Should work well, in addition to 2 pcs. Narva Ultima with a 100W xenon in front?
Considering also 2 pcs. 6 "SR Series in addition to the ordinary reversing light.
They give almost 4000 lumens total. One should be able to see well then!
                              Expensive, but very good stuff.

But a little excited about anyone here have any experience with these products'.
It is said that this is the best on the planet
