CUSTOM CALLOUT: PAJERO vs PRADO

They are the often forgotten wagons of 4WDing, the Mitsubishi Pajero and the Toyota Prado. The Pajero is overshadowed by its dual-cab cousin the Triton and the Prado by its bigger brother the LandCruiser. But we all know that Pajeros and Prados can be cracking family tourers!
So the team here at 4WD Action want to see Australia’s best Pajeros and Prados. Come on you 4WDers, show us your proud Pajeros and powerful Prados! Send your pics to [email protected] along with a few words about your favourite modification and you might get your rig featured in your favourite mag!

I don't think my Prado is equipped enough! As much as I would love it put in the Mag.

Are you sure you didn't post this a few days early.... friday is April fools !!!!

I laughed when I saw this. The mag is very aware of a number of highly modified Prado's (trust me, alot not one or two) and yet they post this on their forum ??? Mmm.... makes me wonder what is doing over at Silverwater ??

I saw this in their newsletter last week I think. My immediate thought was this would be used to justify their selection of the Pajero over the Prado for their best second hand pick article from the most recent issue.

For ages, alot of us have hit 4wd action for photo shoots, with a number of different styles of Prado's. Seems if you don't have a patrol or a land cruiser, they just ignore you.

Times must be changing...

There is nothing wrong with continuously writing about GU Patrol's and 80/100 series Landcruisers all day every day, and getting the tech expert to wash the Editor's truck, then write about how he did it, and to fit TJM accessories to the Editor's truck, then write about how good TJM products are?

No comparison between the two, but I may be biased :wink:

Submitted some pics, would prefer the opportunity to actually challenge in real life :twisted: :twisted:

I sent a few pics for the hell of it, doesn't bother me if they use them or not, hope they do and more PPL buy prado's and start the long road to modifying their truck and post it HERE lol. Long live pradopoint!!!!!!

I hadnt read this post yet but today received a email and a follow up call from Brendon at 4x4 monthly asking if was interested in a follow up shoot on my rig..
of coarse i accepted
