          Amazing photos.
          Are the yabbies dead. When we were in Innamincka July 2010 there were hundres if not thousands of floating fish in the Cooper dead from lack of oxygen in the water due to silt from the flood waters.

                Not dead but not very happy either, I think it's a case of over population and reducing habitat as the last of the flood waters recede.
