    Cheers jim

Edit: Just reread post, he was in Tassie.
I did not mention he was in Tassie I thought I would leave the state or country where this happened unmentioned

I think that's a great result. Agree that there are heaps of people that talk/text while driving - I've contemplated getting up behind them and when I see their head look down at the phone, BLASTING the horn at them, but I don't want to cause an accident.

No fines, banned from the town centre for one month, just 6 s*#t scared blokes waiting for their dads to pick them up in the morning. I know for a fact that these blokes didn't end up in jail or doing the wrong thing again

As said unfortunately the Police are now in a position where "community policing" is now not an option as kids are brought up with the mantra that they "have rights" and know that they'll get off lightly.

I agree with being fined for doing things that are dangerous, but also agree that the fine should go to a worthwhile purpose or be negated with some form of community service as the alternative, my 2c worth.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

        Jeeez Richo,

        Now you're showin' ya age.

But you are right, The Town Copper , the Post Master and the Station master would all toe the kids up the backside quick smart.
The kids would listen & do what they were told as well, not like at present.

        Cheers
