Hi All, bought a pair of sheepskins from a mob called Mercedes Woolen products in Victoria (he mentioned he was known on this site) paid by c/c (PayPal) 18 days ago and still not delivered !!! emailed them and they say it's posted gave a tracking no; which I've typed in and it came back "no such no" rang assie post and they cant find it either, so is it normal to wait nigh on THREE weeks for a parcel to come from Victoria ??? I can get one from the UK in five DAYS so how can it take that long ? also how do I stand legally as it stands I'd like to just cancel and go with a real supplier, can I email paypal and cancel ?
never go with this mob again thats for sure,

Yeah its ridiculous getting gear from the East. I buy heaps of Motocross gear for the kids from the US and its usually on my door in 4-5 days. Not to mention significantly cheaper. Aussie retailers need to get their sh#t together. Stop whinging about online buying and start offering competitive prices and decent service.

Hi Dave you have to go to Paypal site and open a complaint it will be investigated and hopefully if they find that the company is a fault you will get your money back.

Thanks for that guys and yes I'm not happy at all I mean when it gets to the point the customer is actually saying look I'm now pissed off waiting , for me alarm bells would be ringing, I mean do they actually want your business and if they do why do they insist on pissin' the customer off ??? I'm sorry but I just dont get it , thats not the way ANY company should shape up, maybe I should have asked on P/P if any one had dealt with them before I made a commitment , my mate reckons these companies are overcharging so much they just dont care if they lose custom I'm beginning to think he's right, because for sure they dont care about me , why should they I'm just the customer and they've all ready got my cash, but they wont get any more I can tell ya............

Sounds like you're being stuffed around. I always use PayPal now as the two times I've had a problem they've sorted it out pretty quickly.

I ordered some stuff from the UK and from Queensland on the same day, roughly same postage cost. UK took 3 days, QLD 10 days.

Also ordered a box of stuff from Canada recently that turned up in 3 days, $10 postage.

Makes no sense to me!

You have 40 days to lodge a dispute with eBay/PayPal after that the only recourse you have is if you paid for it with a Visa card. I was recently ripped off by a guy overseas because I didn't,t know about the time limit . I only got my money back because I made a fraud claim through visa . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THROUGH EBAY THAT HAS AN EXTENDED OR LONG DELIVERY PERIOD . Make a dispute claim with eBay soon .

Well just a recap, they finally arrived today, they are of good quality and good value for money (credit where it's due) it's just a damn pity the deal was spoilt by an unacceptably long time to deliver, if they actually say to you look it's going to be ex amount of time before you get them it wouldn't be so bad but then would you buy them if you knew you wont get it for weeks ?

Radelaide is a very happening place along the road between Perth and Melbourne. Don't blink or you will miss it!
