I got mine last year and now have them on the prado.

816 DOG, had the nickname since high school and didn't have the $3000 to buy BIG DOG.

And in good old QLD don't have to pay an annual fee, $395 for 3 letters and 3 numbers.

Travelling with my boss on the western freeway we were passed by a Porsche convertible with a 'mature' blonde woman behind the wheel. The number plate was '4BJS'....

My boss and I looked at each other as he said 'man I wonder how many it took to get the 911?'

I was walking back to the Prado one day and some people were trying to work out what my plates said... Well they were trying to work out what sort of person I was because as I got closer I overheard one person say "they must be rednecks or something"??? lol.

My plates mean getting off the sealed roads and exploring, being out bush Most friends and family knew exactly what it meant, people that don't 4WD or don't know me find it hard to understand the meaning of them.

Western Australia have some funny plates thanks to heir format which currently is 1xxx ###

My son got his first car and much to his dislike got the plate 1DYK ### which his his mates read as "One Dyke"

DAV306. My name's Dave, my lucky number is 6. So I guess that says a bit about me, but it's not overly original. Oh they are Brisbane Lions plates too!

I once had to replace the standard plates on an old car. The bird at QLD transport came out and told me "I found you some plates that match your birthdate; they start 384 (Mar-1984)." To which I replied "Cool" And she laughed her ass off. They were 384-KOL. They were good for standard plates.

It sounds like a plate for a BIK DIG (earthmoving company) work ute but it was written by a dyslexic prison inmate :lol: :lol: :lol:
