Yeah..roll on summer..so i can take my boat out (am a girls blouse..dont like boating in winter). Last time i took my boat out (only a 16footer) we anchored about 400 metres off shore and as i cast my line out a huge shadow went under the boat...Hmmmm.

It came back round and while the water does magnify things this thing was longer than my boat...bloody shark.. So i said to swmbo, nah..nothing here lets relocate. LOL

Oh and so you get an idea of what shark it may have been..we are only 45km from Port Lincoln SA direct line of sight. White pointer ally.

#1 son is pretty blind without glasses and a couple of years ago he was kayaking in the TK1 on the lee side of Fraser. Plenty of dugongs in that water. Anyway he is quietly paddling along and then looks over the side. Looks again. And again. Suddenly it was like a cartoon, the paddles go flat out and he heads straight for the beach, ran the kayak up onto the beach and struggled to get out. He saw a shadow that was longer than the 4m kayak, had no idea if it was a whale, shark, dugong or possum but he wasn't hanging around. Naturally he got much sympathy from us. Once we could contain the laughing.

Bendman you can use scotch locks or cable joiners or wire taps depending on what brand you buy but the best way is to bare a little of the cable and then wrap the new supply to the radio and solder them together. Then wrap lots of good quality tape over it. Fuse the supply to the radio separately.

So, has anyone here had that issue addressed by Toyota? and what was the outcome.

Have had my tailshaft greased twice now, still have a clunk now and then. There's a whole thread on the subject, will find the link and post it here for you.

I am Extremely annoyed at Toyota about my tailshaft clunk..How dare they agree to replace the tail shaft for me without so much as "but but"

I never even got a chance to have a rant or unleash the possums.

I just said i have a clunk in the tailshaft..they did the 10K service today, and gave me a written and verbal statement advising the tail shaft has been ordered and will call next week to book my Prado in.

Sometimes you just get great tojo service..depends on the dealer i guess.

Dirty mongrel bastards!!! How dare they do a good job so you have nothing to whinge about. Their staff should all be sacked and sent to my dealership for punishment.

Fido, Bendman we have done some checking into this ntp fellow, it seems that there is no threat as he is just up to some of his usual antics. We discovered he is well know for his streaking at the footy and cricket, apparently he loves his "frank & beans" swinging free in the breeze then being tackled and piled up on by a bunch of men in uniform.
We also have intel suggesting that he likes to dress up in a big red wig and makeup then goes to work for a very well known fast food restaurant chain running around scaring the McShit out of small unsuspecting children.
We believe his new fascination with the KLC has been caused by an horrific recent event where his prado ran off the road and hit a small shrub where 6 possums were having an orgy at the time killing all the possums. Police sources say that he was on his way home from a streaking event and his "twig & berries" may have become entangled with the steering wheel causing the accident.
I feel for the poor fellow and think we should offer him our kindness and not try to shatter his innocent delusions.

Then again our research possums did find a stash of new experimental alcohol and have been extremely drunk all week so this information could be completely incorrect and he may well be the biggest threat to the KLC that the world has ever seen.
I guess we will just have to wait and see.
