  • Re: Spotted a PP in your travels

Spotted a Silver 120 Series this morning at 7:40 heading East crossing from Richmond Road onto Greenhill Road. The driver was a lady and then did a U turn where I turn and followed me back up Greenhill Road. Not sure if she turned in towards the Big Day Out (what a scortcher that will be today with 42oC predicted) or then onto ANZAC highway.

Had a hardwheel cover so I'm assuming still had Grandcraps and also had the stock Souverign Bullbar with a pair of spotties. No roofrack but a pair or North/South roof rails PradoPoint sticker blazing away in the heat. South Australian number plate but not the standard one. Four digits followed by three.

Grabbed a typical phone photo which is crap as

    Anyone know?

Sounds suspiciously like my wife...... it would have been a colour coded ARB deluxe bar though>>>>>> everything else sounds like my truck... roof rails , hard cover, shitty grand treks ( almost worn out ) spotties , and shiney new S.A number plates..... and would have turned onto the Anzac hiway to go to Keswick Barracks.

        Goanna

Could well have been me - I work in that area and travel past Recall 3-4 times a day.

        All the best.

Driving out to Maddington today to have a look at the Adventure campers we realized we were in the wrong lane to turn onto Albany highway.

While waiting for the lights to change I spotted a Prado heading into Maddington Bunnings with a PP sticker. Unfortunately the lights took forever to change so we did not get to meet the owner however a quick detour through the carpark got us a happy snap before continuing on our way.

              Cheers Neil

Other than Snaga's prado, I have not spotted or come across another prado with the PP stickers.

So what did you buy from Bunnings then Golly?

Just for your info and for others, I picked up a seat organiser that is very similar to the one's Michelle's Sacs produces from Bunnings Maddington the other day - cost me $10 for the 8 pocket organiser.

A bit tricky to see the PP sticker whilst half way round a roundabout going the other way but just in case:

I "think" the nicely setup White Prado going around the roundabout on Forest Road near the graveyard in Ferntree Gully.
Had Flares and the driver (male) gave me a knowing look while looking at my very boring white GX with white bumpers.
