But it is time to fess up - when I first said it wasn't in WA, I actually didn't recognise it (been quite a while since I was there) so I wasn't being a smartar$e - promise :?

But Muzza was right - then I was being a little obtuse with the bluff comment - i was hoping to get an easterner involved and get some east happy snaps, but oh well - too bad.

If I am correct (muzza?) then bugger em - they'll get another WA shot!

Well Fishie.....I didn't mean those dictionary definitions that is for sure...I meant by obtuse......being deliberately vague ie playing with the board....as you described.

I see others are keen to pin the less complimentary definitions on you though......so i guess a difficult and hard WA shot is in order!

Yes you are correct......all 3 taken from Bluff knoll in the Stirling ranges in SW WA, about 50 miles out of Albany.

Not shots that people readily associate with WA....but the Stirling Ranges are well worth a visit, good camping at Moingup Springs and some great climbs, particularly Bluff Knoll and Mt Toolbrunnup.....both around 4,000'

Hope all the WA pics are helping to illustrate that WA has some top spots as well...being one third of Oz it should have!

Hmmmmmmmmmm.....................on closer inspection i'm thinking that looks like Shothole Canyon, one of the many Gorges in the spectacular Cape Range. I believe its a hell of a long drive from Perth :!: :!:

Well...I do believe your research is correct.....but I best leave it to Fishnut to adjudicate......

Shothole Canyon is in the Cape Range on NW Cape near Exmouth. Top spot with some magnificent country, extraordinary beaches, Ningaloo Reef and fantastic fishing.
