That's close enough for a non NSWelshman Muzza. Upper reaches of the Macleay, NE corner of Oxley Wild Rivers NP. You can throw a rock to the Apsley. There is a Bass Fishing Lodge near here and thought some may have recognised the view. It is on the Kempsey/Armidale Rd/Track (depending on weather and log trucks). Beautiful area and the Styx/Macleay/Kunderang are Valleys to Behold.

Anyway back to my unsolved location...... a new clue.....artists like this place........in NSW...bloody cold in a tent though....

Fat Boy '*' - Fat Boy Slim - as in the Macleay; birthplace of Slim Dustey - with Oxley the Explorer.

Now as for your artists bit - c'mon, artists like the entire state - that 'mild' frost is our attempt to keep interstaters north, south, way to the west, and if necessary, give them directions east of the coast. (only joking, we are a friendly bunch if fed well.

Hill End it is.....and a right fascinating place it is too. great campground. We had it all to ourselves...chilly. Love to go back one day.
