well
well..I guess it looks like a lava tube opening.....but the aborigines never ventured into them and the wall surface at Undarra is lava not sandstone.....
nope, good try...but try further North and a lot further West.
It is not Western Australia though.
Good walking trails, spectacular scenery and good camping where these pics were taken.Serious Crusty Curmudgeon, Curmudgea West

good try
Good try.....but I think the Lost Cities are not quite as red or as lush with Livistonias.....certainly has some resemblance to the Lost Cities of Booroloola (if that is how it is spelt).
But no....it is further West, mate.
Sort of a bungle bungles but not so hard to get to!Serious Crusty Curmudgeon, Curmudgea West

well...no
well....hi Pradofreak.......no not the Bungle Bungles but sure looks like it....doesn't it.....no much easier to get to and easier to walk in to plus there are gorges and aboriginal art to explore and all handy to good camping spots and not far to go to get fresh provisions either......
Seemed to be a secret for years but is more popular now....and only a short drive off the bitument at that!
So nope..not Bungle Bungle...this location is in the NT.
And mav, sorry...not Litchfield.....lot more open and drier than Litchfield and lots more big hills.

Well I am going to say the Kakadu Escarpment but Kakadu can be a pretty wet sort of place for most of the year.Roll on the 2010 Pradopoint GTG
