The only thing I can think of with those buildings and gate posts is the old State Farm near the Damperwah Hills outside of Perenjori?

Yep, that's it.
Damperwah State Farm set up in the 1920's to experiment with different types of crops. It's along a route that is a great drive from Perenjori.

You go past John Forrest's Lookout that he set up when trying to find the lost explorer Leichardt. The farm itself makes an interesting stop, then there is the old mining settlement of Rothsay




You can head out to Field's Find with the cemetary and heaps of workings


and then on the way home there is the Rabbit Fence


Easy to do in a long weekend, and a drive we recommend doing in spring with the wildflowers. We are going back this year for sure!

I'd like to do that one.....sounds like a good trip...maybe time to get the truck out in August September to see the wildflowers and do that run...sounds like a good idea Fishnut. A long weekend would be the go.

John Forrest went that way a couple of times as well exploring in the early days.

well here is another shot.......for the mystery spot spotters......I am confused now about whether this thread is for location shots or prado rig shots only or both but I guess I shall just press ahead....

I thought it was quite a novalty driving down the boat ramp and onto the lake bed, I hope I can get back there one day when there is water in the lake and try out those bag limits.
