Ok...
Kennedy Range National Park. (From Google, not from Experiencing it !)
If I am wrong disregard the next couple of images.
I won't get a chance to post from work so.....here goes 1st attempt. I'll read up on resizing when I have time.







Apparently Captain Cook Named This area after one of his Lieutenant's who spotted it on 19th April (ships log) 20th April (Calendar Date) in 1770.
The Wreck is not the Endevour !

Yup...kennedy Range and the Gascoyne Range, well worth a visit and Mt Augustus and Cobra Station is further up the track.

Too easy.....
Rugged, Windy, Cold....but a very pleasant place to finish after a 2 week Victorian High Country trip...and a quicker drive home up the Monaro than the Hume !

Curdimurka ? An abandoned railway siding on the old Ghan Railway Line next to the Oodnadatta Track

The Noojee Bridge at Yarragon in the Gippsland? Don't know which further south you where refering to HG as Emerald is already pretty south.

great trestle bridge...no idea where it is though! Don't build them like that anymore!

Lofty.....the 1st pic of the Kennedy ranges is instantly recognisable to anyone who has been there.....as it is pretty unique......it is a pic of the wall of the range at the base of a 150 foot waterfall......the waterfall is dry except after rain.......it chews up a big hole at the base of the range and the spray over thousands of years has scoured the soft cliff face into this honeycomb effect. Quite an interesting and photogenic spot.

check out the park description here...the kennedy range is a strange feeling place...but as they say, a real wilderness feeling...I must say I agree with them!

It is the only place I've been where at night the tent was surrounded by howling dingoes......gawd do they sound weird and unworldly up close........certainly woke us up! Taught me not to leave a half eaten sausage outside overnight!
