Anyone seen muzza, should we send out a search party :?:

Maybe we need a 24 hr rule, if the winner hasn't posted within 24 hrs of being declared the winner, then the next closest or maybe previous poster has another go :?:

Then again, muzza would have till tomorrow am.......

So who goes next, muzza must be AWOL.

Agree with other comments, think this is a great idea for a thread, would be good to see it continuing for a while.

                  wot!

Wot! I won something, I didn't even check back because i am a born loser!

Fantastic to see the pic of Koonalda....I was just 19 and riding a huge 500ccc motorbike across the Nullarbor on the old track when I pulled into koonalda for fuel. I couldn't help noticing the buildings made out of sleepers. The track to Koonalda from Eucla was so bad i thought I was going to die....they were grading the track and that made it so difficult for me on a bike that I rode off the track for some time to get onto firmer ground. The number of wrecked cars and burnt out trucks along the track in those days made it look like a battlefield. At koonalda the old style pumps worked on gravity...so i had to guess how much my tank would hold when purchasing...you got it...I over estimated and got fuel all over my hot bike engine...fortunately it didn't ignite. If I thought the track to koonalda was bad.....the next bit to ivy tanks was unforgettable!

I never learnt, because later I rode a bike through the Kimberley before the road was sealed. that Fitzroy to halls creek section is seared into my brain. One of my best bike rides back then was from Fitzroy Crossing to Tunnel Ck and then onto Winjana Gorge....although loose it was still just a cattle track and was a great adventure. It is a rougher track now because of all the big 4WDs and trailers that go through..IMHO.

Anyway thanks for the Koonalda photo it sure brings back memories....where do you turn off to get to it nowadays?

Anyway....I hadn't read the rules...sorry to stuff things up....but here is my belated photo.....no Prado in the pic...but my rig at the time.....not an easy one methinks....

clues: it is taken at a "resort", old gold mining town, sort of like out of a Mad Max movie

i said it won't be easy!
