well Warmun is the name given to Turkey Creek these days......so no...it is not Warmun.

Ok..........a clue.....the campsite does have "Creek" in its name......but you need to be precise out where the Lodge is.

it is a historic spot.....gold mining was its business....and it has the most authentic outback feel of any place I have ever been to.

This guy ran the place, was an absolute character, an eternal optimist....and picked up this fossil pearl shell out in the desert!

well done Mototrim, of course now your prize is to put a campsite pic up....

Obviously the remote Kimberley still remains to be explored somewhat by the board.

The campsite is indeed Old Hall's Creek.......the Lodge is the so-called Halls Creek Tourist Resort...well there is a lot to the name I guess.

Whilst pretty basic the place is full of interest and the landscape and history is great. I could explore around there for days. Lots of great places to go.

It is far more favourable a spot to camp than Battleground Halls Creek!!!

Don't forget...no-one has spotted Johnv's pic yet.
