So many times in this thread I see photo and name it, Then sit back and think about it then talk myself out of it,
So i do not put up a suggestion. Then Kick myself for not saying anything as I was correct at the beginning.
So, not that I have been there but my first thought is Elquestro. ???
Spara
'Early to bed and early to rise --
Till you get enough money to do otherwise.'
Pentecost is correct. Cockburn is technically not correct - it's another 15km away. I'm looking for either the other river in the centre of the picture or even better - the name or description of the white spot in the middle.
A bit picky I know but now you have all the clues and are more than 50% there, the next person should get this

You know what is funny. I can't even see another river but Google Maps says that the Chamberlain River is here and as Spara said earlier El Questro is the lump of white along the Chamberlain.
If this is correct then I think Spara should have it.

I've re-researched this answer (that showed I was initially wrong) and have found that according to the El Questro web site, the white spot is 'The Homestead'. Most of the maps in the area show the 'Township' as being the homestead (another 6kms away). But I asked two questions and Schaffer - you are the only person that put El Questro and Pentecost River (also Chamberlain) in one posting - so I think the prize goes to you.
As a matter of interest the rate for 2 people for 2 nights at this accommodation is $4980 for the 'Chamberlain Suite' and a low $3860 for the cheapest 'Homestead Room'. But this does cover meals and drinks....

OK you got me on that one. Had to go back and have a look at what I was missing. How many others had to go back for a look after hearing the price?

Yes - amazing. My old doctor said that he stayed up there a few years ago as a 50th birthday treat (I think) and said while it was great, it wasn't worth it. He said a luxury holiday at one of the best resorts on the Barrier Reef was better and cheaper.
