Recycled Rubber

Long shot I know but some one might know, I removed the front lawn and laid Liquid Limestone but the front verge (belongs to shire) I had hoped to cover with recycled rubber is now in doubt as the cost is just plain stupid, so has anyone had AstroTurf laid and is so whats your verdict ?

I havent personally, but I know that Astroturf (or versions thereof) is really expensive if you want to do it right. To the point where my girlfriend's brother and sister-in-law completely changed their plans and laid normal turf instead.

If you want to lay astro turf, I beg that you lay one that looks real, and get it done properly so that you dont end up with weeds growing through, ratty ends, lumps/bumps etc.

Check with Rock City Council before you spend any money. Some councils don't allow astro turf on verges.

Never gave that a thought Dave thanks for that will do that too , yes spot on Spilsy but I've had a quote thats affordable and checked his work and it's all good so far but as said I'd much rather the rubber mate it would be so easy to lift and relay but the cost really is a lot more than Astro but thank you both for the input it's appreciated,
