Things that tick you off!

Went for a drive today doing some recce work and was following a road that came to a locked gate. It was a gazetted road on four different maps so couldn't understand why the gate would be locked without any signage.

Decided to go to the nearest farm house to see if they could give me some questions. Well this led to an interesting conversation.

To start with they denied that the road was even there but after showing them the maps they quickly changed their tune and then tried to say it was locked for conservation purposes???? Asked how they could just lock a road and then they gave me some story about the goverment.

Going to the council this week to see if I can get some clarification on this.

If it is true then it is just another case of locking gates in the name of conservation. Seems to be happening alot now in Tasmania.

I got one the other day to the tune of $417 ( 86 in a 60 zone)......I was sure it was 80 zone but after going through the same section the next day my heart sank as I drove past the 60 sign........

Look at the brightside - you didn't get another ticket for speeding in the same place again!

Happening here to VKPrado, (Sydney), seems they close what ever they want for what ever bullshit reason they seem to come up with...........Be bloody nothing left for any one soon. Next time there are fires they should hand the hoses over to some of these people to fight the fires and save the trees they seem to think we do so much damage to, bloody wankers............Cheers Steve

Haha yep true bushy ! Got to work on Tuesday and one of the girls got pulled over in the same spot, she only got a $243 fine for doing 86 in a 60....... She did have cleavage showing at the time......
I have been making sure I have the CB on when I leave home now. The truckies are pretty good at pointing out where the boys with hair dryers are hiding.

Going on a Gold Coast off shore fishing charter in 6ft swell today and getting seasick. It took 2 hours for the vomiting to start and it didn't stop until I set foot on the dock back at the mariner again afterwards. But two other people had it worse than me. One poor bugger started puking 15 minutes after departing. I took Travel Calm tablets as per the instructions & I still got sea sick. 5 people out 13 got sea sick today. I was the 4th to lean over the side of the boat puking. I was also the last to have a chuck as we entered calmer waters shortly before docking. I just couldn't hold it off. I was thinking, "Not now! The water's calm... What the hell?" I must've boarded the vomiting charter, not the fishing charter. I'm sure I got on the right vessel though haha.

Discovering the outside chest freezer, stocked with meat, bread & milk, has stopped working sometime in the last week, and greeted with a lovely smell when I opened it today.

Next time should give these a go - called "Quease Ease" - they a natural ingredient pen style thing that you sniff, girl from work in the WA boating game sold quit a few at Mandurah boat show also sold though chemist in WA

Hey Brett...I love offshore fishing, and I look to go whenever I can, and there was no way the forcast was predicting it to be a good day for offshore fishing, so unfortunately you picked a bad one mate..and even some experienced fishos would have got sick...

Going on a Gold Coast off shore fishing charter in 6ft swell today and getting seasick.

Coming back from NZ by ship 2 days after the Christchurch quake we had 7-8 metre swells for 2 days, I didn't get seasick. I've also been out fishing in a 30 knot gale where nearly everyone was puking over the side, me I just kept fishing and bought back a nice big flathead. The only thing I've ever taken for seasickness was the "Travel Calm" ginger tablets from the health food store and that was just while I was getting my sea legs on the cruise out from Oz.

Mind you a dive trip out from Chalong Bay in Thailand to Phi Phi Island had me feeling rather queasy, we were up and down on the waves for the whole 2.5hr trip out. I find looking at the horizon helps as does staying out in the fresh air, inside the cabin is not the best place if you're feeling sick.

Being dragged into the 21st century ticks me off, finally buckled under and got an Iphone, god help me

What really ticks me off though is whilst playing with the Iphone I got onto PP but was not logged in, so I got the adds I normally miss out on due to being a paid member and it turns out there are all these hot chicks that want me, and I have been mising out on this vital info
