Nothing better than a smoke freee camp fire ? Is that possible um.... never came across one yet , but not once have I seen a none smoker ask some one to put the camp fire out because they dont like smoke .
Ok I do agree smoking is a filthy habit but there are some smokers myself included that are considerate of the none smokers , and do there best to avoid smoking around them . I have lived in my house for 11 - 12 years and have not once lit up in the house . I have my shed out the back and if none smokers want to enter that is their choice and they can keep quiet and deal with the smoking . But for bum skin Kevin Rudd to throw this extra 20% increase the tabacco companies and the smokers ar not going to miss out , it will be some other consumed product that will be sacrifced because that money is spent on public health b*******t no it wil be going to some poli's "lets cheat on the mrs" affair account ..

And I will continue to smoke as you never get any where in life being and knwing you are a quitter .

Mate I think that's clutching at straws and a bad argument. Have you EVER seen anyone deliberately sit in the smoke of a campfire? I certainly haven't. When out camping around a camp fire I have always seen people move out of the path of whichever way the smoke is blowing. This only adds support to my argument that people do not like smoke.... especially when it's a harmful cigarette from another person. At least with a campfire you get a bit of enjoyment out of it as a compromise.

Further regarding the tax, I'd rather see smokers penalised with tax for two reasons.
      1) It's more likely to get people to consider quitting
      2) If a person smokes by CHOICE and they get cancer/get sick and require hospital treatment, it's only fair that their dangerous habit pays for these services which one could submit would not be required if they didn't smoke. It is publicly known that smoking and alcohol are the two single most influential factors when it comes to draining hospital/medical resources. Why not make the smokers and drinkers make a little extra contribution. It's simple if they don't want to make this extra contribution - don't drink or smoke.

Sitting in the smoke of the campfire gives you plenty of room
See all the others pushing in for a spot out of the smoke  Then the wind changes :?
They all rush to my side but I have top spot
Also the smell of the smoke keeps the mozzies off
Opps!! also the wife on the other side of the sleeping bag

If i had a dollar for every time i've pushed it closed..

I use the ash tray for coins & the further it slides out, the more the coins rattle. Drives me nuts.

Two Prados and never had a problem with the ashtrays - always been virgins in my car (I'm refering to the ashtray!).

But what annoys me is when the passengers get out and don't put the seatbelt buckle all the way up fully, or they leave it twisted, and then the buckle rattles against the interior trim. Now, that's annoying. I reckon there needs to be a little felt bumper on the trim where the buckle rests when not in use.

Yeah we must have the same level of annoyence it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up when you drop the passenger off then you take off only to have the rattle of the buckle against the pillor. Then put your back out trying to untwist it while your driving along. :x CHEERS TINKERA.

Spending $1,300 on a top notch GPS 2 years ago from a major GPS retailer - after beeing told that it would meet my needs. Spent more money undertaking a course offered by the same retailer, because I needed to maximise use and functions of the device - only to realise it actually can't do what I thought (and was told) it could do. Then back twice with warranty issues, one was a faulty charge and USB cord, second issue to do with the unit freezing. Was told to download update, but the system would not recognise the update - back to retailer - told it was fixed, but wasn't. Now the crunch, after 2 years and well out of warranty, the unit won't switch on. Retailer no longer wants to know me and told me to send it to WA, but has advised "to be honest, I think it has been shorted and is dead", I take it is now stuffed and useless. My rant - the worst $1,300 I have spent in life.

Ouch, I can't see the cost justification in some of these GPS devices hence why I bought a cheap device from eBay and loaded Ozi and maps on it myself. I was however recently disappointed to find the Hema maps do not have a lot of track detail. None of the tracks in Mungo or Hattah-Kulkyne were available and I went back to good old paper maps.
