  • $800+ dent :x

I got his car rego plate, the car he was driving was probably worth about $500. He could not find his licence and I could not see a current rego sticker so I rang the cops while he was in the shops.

I just spoke with the insurance company and all is sweat. I guess he maybe a bit down on his dole payment for the next couple of month

There were heaps of Mc-crap rubbish in through his car I don't know where he got the money from to buy it ??
"Ooops I just deleted the internet, lucky I was able to recover 99.7% of it out of the bin"

      • Nobody is immune, but we can only try...

Often enough, I will pull into a parking space, size up the car next to me and distance between us, and then pull out to find another further away. I don't mind the extra walk.

No carpark dings yet... but she's still only 11,000ks young. Now to go and touch some wood.

        • A mate of mine always insisted on parking at least one side of his car next to a concrete pillar so he was only half vunerable.

          • How about these numbnuts that pulled in so close to my drivers door that he had to climb over and get out the drivers door cause he could not open the passengers side door they were that close. I was walking up to my car when they drove in and could not believe it I thought for sure that they would back up and then centre themselves but oh no not on your life.

So I caught them both getting out the drivers door and asked the to please move their car so I could get in and the numbnuts just look at me like I was speaking Japanese or something.

I asked again and got shrug of the sholders from the guy and his mrs starts to walk away to the shops. So by now I am starting to get stem coming out of my ears and I said "Well how about we settle it with a jolly good thumping?" Numbnut gets in his car and repositions it.

I tell you some poeple are complete and utter fragwits.

I do that whenever I can, to the extent of parking a few inches from pillar/gutter, maximising the space for the moron next to me.

              • I tend to use a theory a mate had when parking at a parking station in town. I cruise around and have a look and park only next to other cars that are of the higher dollar value. It works quite well. Otherwise at the local shops we tend to park way down the back where all the other cars that don't want carpark dents as they park across two bays.

                • Hmmm talking about parking.... I had my brand new (for me) late 2005 V6 S-pack, black VZ utility parked outside work and... (oh I had it 3 weeks)...

AT 10AM a P plater fell asleep at the wheel on a 50km/hr commercial street and plowed into it - took me 3 months argueing with the insurance company and getting independant structural integrity reports before it was written off...

Man did he shit himself when I walked out of work and over to him. I didn't see my ute w/off till I got to him and helped him off the road. He'd crashed bout 30m's away. I turned and saw my ute....

he told me he came down there to have a sleep in the work car....

                    • Yeah, bloody carpark ning nong slugheads.

They emerge from the stink bogs and slime their bog machines all the way to the parking bay next to you. Having no brain, they think that ripping your drivers door off and eating it is perfectly ok. They go into Coles to get ingredients for their bog pit cake, bring it all out in a yellow sticker trolley and imprint the front end of it on your other front door. Of course, this is helluva funny for them..... whacked on bog drugs and all. Somtimes, I think you could rip their arm off and they wouldn't give a damn.

Find another Prado to park next to, that seems to work 8). You could also put a "video surveillance" sticker on your window. Or you could plaster "Fragwits Go Home" stickers on their windsheild.... if they damn well have one....

                        • I was walking back to the Prado the other day when I saw the person parked next to me in swing their door open and crunch it into the side of the Prado.
The change in their expression was priceless when they nonchalantly got out and checked out their handy work, only to realise they had smashed their door into my steel side steps.

The steel sliders are awesome, they protude out a bit and give that extra bit of protection

In the US I had seen this guy who had something like spikes protrude of the wheel arch (something like in the Mad Max movies), maybe we need something like that (I know its illegal here)

I can drive 1000s of kms off road and not put a dent in my doors, I park it at the shopping centre and some DUMBAR****SE puts a big dent in the side because they are too fat to get out of a normal sized car space.

I think there should be different zones in carparks so all the mongos can carpark together :
                              - work car,
                              - don't give a toss,
                              - <$1000,
                              - mummy and daddy bought this for me,
                              - please be gentle I bought this and i don't want it wrecked

                              Rant over :x
I am TOTALLY hearing you!!! I bought my 1st car, my pride and joy, when I was just 18 and drove it from the car yard to the shopping center, was inside for maybe 5 minutes and come out and have a massive dint in the drivers side rear quarter panel  it didnt even look like my car, and they didnt leave any details either, and nobody seen it happen! Might I say, I drove that car EVERYWHERE and never even got a scratch on it... And then the same thing has happened with my current car to, but not at a car park, it happened at work

There will be hell to pay if that happens with my new prado!

Seriously you would've been devastated on a 3 week old car.

I remember back when I was at tradeschool, we headed out for lunch, I had 4 rowdy hungry blokes in my car and we pulled up at repco. There were angle parks everywhere with no cars parked in any of them. I swung in quickly and jumped out to grab something on my own...

As I come back out I notice that my car is parked just inside the line on the left hand side (and as mav put it) some farkin numnut parked RIGHT beside me as far close as they could on the line also (remembering that there are about 20 empty car spaces all over the shop and out of all of them they park next to me!!!absolute dipsh!ts)... This meant that the mirrors were nearly touching... And the numnut couldn't get out of the car.

So this idiot starts abusing me out the window as I come out of the shop!! You can imagine what my reaction was but JAYZUZ did they get a spray from the boys in the car!! Priceless!!!!!!! They quickly shut their trap and moved car spaces.

Fair dinkum, some people just need a back hander sometimes!
