I understand, and probably it was inconsiderate and dangerous of the 120 driver.

Though, I would also add that if a motorised vehicle cannot keep up with the flow of traffic, then it presents a hazard too; often to the motorists who are several vehicles behind. I regularly see scooters sitting >10ks under the speed limit on the Gold Coast and in a position that leaves everyone wondering whether they want to ride on the shoulder or on the road. It's becomes a judgement call by the driver as to whether they pass in the same lane or drive around or sit behind them.

My 2c... stick to roads where the scooter is easily able to maintain the speed limit.

Underpowered also means unable to escape from potentially dangerous situations. Naturally, there's a balance... I bet Jay would like a little more power too .

PS: Yes, I do keep a safe distance from scooters... in the same way as I keep a safe distance from cyclists on the road.

Don't confuse speed limit with minimum speed required.
Sure I want to go as fast as possible, but we have to share the road and no public user has greater rights than another. e.g. Bicycles, Tractors

I agree it a PITA, but there are too many laws around already !

Rude customers / people! Expect the best service in the world but want to treat you like crap... Sorry I had a bad experience this afternoon and from a fellow Prado driver. The wife is away and I needed to vent, al good now :mrgreen:

I used to work in a servo for a number of years. Had plenty of rude customers over the years, but one stood out.

Customer walks in to pay some fuel and proceeds to rant and rave about the poor lighting inside the store. That if he was to fall over something it would be on our heads, and that if he can’t see the amount on the credit card receipt he wouldn't be signing for anything. This guy must have gone on for a few minute before I could get a word in. Once I got the chance I suggested he take off his sunnies :wink: After which he called me a smart ass and left.

The tool that put an offer on my house and I threw in a counter offer he agreed the agent sent him the paper work to sign he has had it for a week and still to busy to sign , he calls the agent up today asking why is the house still advertised for sale ???? :shock: :shock: hope he is not a pp member .. If he is well sorry I mite have to amend the price another 15k +

Its not the buyer...... he's playing a game. It's your agent!

......any Agent thats submitts a Non executable offer to you..... does not deserve to be paid.... it was nothing more than an expression of interest. And they wonder why agents have a bad name.

I am a Licensced Agent, and have in the past operated my own offices, but left Real Estate mainly due to the ethics and behavior of 98% of the agents in the industry. (There are a few specvks of gold out there, but they are very few and far betweeen).

Ain't that the truth...

Our unit was sold a couple of years ago on a hand shake... the paperwork was next to useless because the agent didn't get the buyer to sign the documents in the right order.
You'd think someone advertising 20 odd years of experience could atleast get that part right :roll:

All sorted the buyer faxed the offer to the wrong number and assumed we had it ? Now looks like a drive through the guts and off to Tassie in the beginning of the new year with the beginning of our new life

Cocky smash repair manager from Armstong and Sons that open with "I don't need your business. I have plenty of work available. I'm not going to waste my time giving you a quote without being guaranteed the work". This is with me and the damaged car present - did he consider the time I 'wasted' in driving there to get an assessment? This is truly poor business practice and just outright rude. I went to another smash repair recommended by my dealer and they gave me a quote within 10minutes. Is it so hard?

The problem came about when Crown Casino Valet scratched my friend's car when collecting it. Crown requested he seek 2 quotes before work could be done. Anyway, my friend has gone overseas and I had to take up the task. Keeping in mind that I have voiced that I'm a returning customer and had already decided to get the work done there, I continue to get attitude from this fuxstick. To think I was recommending them to people after getting my car repaired there :x I'll take my business where it's better appreciated!

looks like not as soon as expected the buyers finance was apparently refused even after the pre approval - I am aware that pre approvals are only a guideline for the details given are correct before they dig deeper in the appliacnts history but for the reason the finance got refused it should not have gone as far as a pre apporval ? :twisted: :evil: :evil:
