Took camper out for first outing and on the last day did not correctly pack up all the internal poles and when closing have bent/twisted a pole that goes the full width of camper and looks like it is sewn in. Have to try and see what it is going to take to either try andd staighten or get it out so a new one can go in. The hard part is that the pole has a 90 degree bend either end.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

Good ending though as finally got it all sorted today so now registered and ready to go.

The lack of respect some campers have for camp ground areas. Every week we are tasked to pick up burt camp chairs, tents, semi melted glass bottles out of fire pits, peoples inability to dig a hole a crap in it but rather crap everywhere else and when toilets are provided they crap everywhere but and to top it off today some top person decided it'll be fun for all to have all his crap smeared over the toilet provided. How sick a person must you be to smear your fecal matter. Oh and while doing up the road today for all who use it to make it safe the 4 4wd's and 4 bikes that thought it was funny to do line lockers and donuts up the freshly graded road and to do it in front of the grader thanks you are why tracks get closed why camp grounds are no longer maintained. Why do you feel its your god given right to be an arse while others miss out.

The old saying, Take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints! its so easy to do this but unfortunately some people are just assholes who don't care.
We actually take more than photos when we camp, every camp site we stay at; I make a point of picking up at least one piece of someone elses litter. The really unfortunate thing is that no matter how remote a place we stay, finding rubbish is never a difficult job.

When I go for my Sleaford - Wanna run I always stop and p/u rubbish/bottles on the track and throw it in the B/W bin bag on the back.
I then reward myself with a cold beer whilst I'm out of the car, fair reward I think.
Regards AdamYep.....I have a Prado just like you

Bit of a rant about poor workmanship even if not Prado related. My wife, #2 son and his mate are heading off for a bit of kayaking and mountain biking. Son's mate had a bike problem so I said I would look it over. Turns out the reputable bike shop that recently did some work on the bike (several hundred $) did a bodgy job on at least one part of it. Bear in mind these are high school kids. Rear derailleur hanger was broken in a crash so the bike shop bought aand fitted a new hanger. No big deal this is what is meant to happen to protect the frame and derailleur. Unlike any of our bikes the hanger is screwed directly into the bike frame rather than a replacable nut. Anyway after troubleshooting the shifting problem for a while it turns out the bike shop stripped the thread in the frame and then locktited the screw in and sent the bike on its way. Each time the shifter was operated the hanger moved just enough that the gears shifted on their own. Not to mention the new hanger getting more and more bent as a result of the forces now in play. Simple enough fix, tap out the stripped M5 for M6 and grind down a replacement countersunk screw to suit. Took about an hour all up. The bike shop should have done this straight away to fix their mistake not sent out the bike which would have failed fairly quickly nor waited for the bike to be returned so they could possibly gouge another repair bill.
