Did anyone else get passed by the dumb**** in the silver (corolla ?) doing about 160+km/h on the bruce hwy around lunch time today, north of brisvegas.

It must have been stolen, unless it was a hire car

Lucky I had the CB on, "there is a F&*(*& id**t doing about 200km/hr heading south on the Bruce - get out of his way". There were a few more F's in this but I edited it.

It was a bit of a blues brothers moment as he apparently got away.

Was there a white prado covered in central Qld mud all but the windscreen wiper area?

The cops did a pretty ordinary job of clearing the Hwy or letting people know, there must have been about 5 TV camera crews waiting for him to pass so they definitely had time.

Pity they couldn't go USA style and bump his back end and send him into the armco.

The media rarely share information with the Police but ask alot of them. Beside it is often difficult in determining the direction the stolen vehicle is travelling.

Better reasons why Queensland Police should be allocated funds to acquire choppers for dealing with this type of incident.

Yes and it's becoming a reality with the way our judiciary system is heading. Recent article in the paper revealed that an arm robber was released on bail by a magistrate. This enable the offender to commit further offences whilst on bail. I think we need more fair dinkum magistrate. We should have a system much like the US where the public appoints their magistrate.

The socially inappropriate person who had no regard for others (AKA unpolitically correct - F***** Stupid Moron) passed me when I was in the outside lane with a car on my right and he drove between us doing at least 150. In the 20 seconds i saw he almost caused about 10 accidents.

I don't know how fast he was going, but he was really moving, I doubt a corolla could get to 200. But the engine was screaming !!

I never seem to encounter doof-doofying 1 brain cell individuals nth of brissy, more of them seem to hangout on the M1 between brissy to gold coast. I think all the tan-in-a-can and the peroxide does strange things to people :?

I think the sthrn qld copper to citizen ratio was one of the worst in australia and growing due to all the sydney and melbourne people moving into the area. They definitely need some additional funding.

It was about 12pm when the choppers were over our place so he was in brissie by then.
