          Cause there are weirdos out there who notices your illegal mods (no matter how minute) and reports you for a yellow canary. The evidence of it is already documented on the interwebs and cached somewhere.

            The other problem is you get lowlives taking the photos and posting bogus for sale ads.

              Might be a dumb question, but HOW would one blot out the number plate, I'm no photoshop guru. Bonus points for anyone able to say how to do it on a mac (what we use)

                Just edit the photo in iPhoto with Retouch tool.
