Hi all,

I'm trying to get a bit of interest in a group buy of some swags from MrSwagman.
http://www.mrswagman.com.au/introduction.shtml

They look to me to be some of the best in quality and construction i have seen.
Pradogxlv6 reviewed them here viewtopic.php?f=37&t=4257

I will probably go for the deluxe single, possibly with bag.

I am happy to do the collecting and delivery around Adeliade if we get some interest.

E-mailed Mark at Mr Swagman last night and he offered the same deal as he did last year:

Yep, I’ll do the same discount as on PradoPoint last year:

10% discount on all Mr Swagman swags and swag bags.
15% discount for 5 or more Mr Swagman swags and swag bags (any combination) that can all be delivered to the same address. I can only do this for all 5 products going to one address as I can save on postage fees which are all inclusive in the prices on my web site.

If you place an order online, you won’t be able to change the pricing, so just put a note in the comments section that I have given you these prices. I have EFT payment (details are on the ordering page) or credit card or PayPal.

There are times when a bloke needs to be careful what he asks for with the wife, when she is pregnant with your child is probably not a time to push a point

The brand is 'Down Under Swags' and it's the Brumby Double. It's dimensions are 7 feet in length by 4 feet 8 inches in width.
It's a dome swag and fully enclosed.

I bought it from Christies Outdoor Camping at Hillcrest for just shy of $500 but you can pick them up at Allington's as well. I'm very happy with it, however have only had the chance to use it three times so far. The only thing I'll probably look at doing to it is getting some more foam just to pad up the matress a bit. Being a double, it can be a bit more difficult in rolling it up into any sort of compact shape on your own. Much easier with a second pair of hands.

Other than that, she's all good.

I'll be the first to admit the money is there to be spent for the benefit of the child/help with getting by etc. BUT, we made a decision to make camping the way to spend our holidays and therefore give the kids a chance to see Oz and not waste it on $million cruises...SO...I have no guilt when SHE came to me and said..when the money comes through I'm gonna give you a present...new tyres (any choice) and a lift

My Mr.Swagman is friggin tops. As I am a big lad, the only issue I have with it is the mattress foam (or lack of it).

When you say big, does that mean lenght, width or both :lol:

I'm about 193cm and one of my pet hates is beds that are to short. Could never be a submariner :lol:

I have seen a few around that are 215 cm x 850 cm, that seems to be the ideal size.

Might have to add one of these to the swag instead of the extra foam. Given I only use the swag when I'm camping and 4x4'ing, there's always a compressor near by. Good thinking Matt.
