I recently had to lease an office in a small surburban building when I took on the position of Returning Officer for an electoral division for the Queensland State Election. Two reserved parking spots under the building was part of the lease. When I arrived on the first morning my white GXL was the only fourby. I went back during the morning and counted 5 other 120 series Prados, four white and one grey. They are there every day, it's like having a mini Pradopoint GTG every day at work. I have just about finished the job so I have ordered some more pradopoint stickers to leave under their wiperblades so hopefully we will get some more members.

We cast our pre-votes at that station... I didn't think I'd fit under the carpark so I had to park on the street Otherwise you could have added a 90 series to the mix
Cheers, Leon There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!

I was interested to see where your aerial is mounted. I have a similiar bar but they mounted my aerial on a "s" shaped bracket inside the engine bay about half way along the bonnet over the passenger guard. Driving offroad causes the screws holding the bracket to come loose and the aerial wobbles around. Are you satisfied with your aerial's position?

That seems a rather funky spot to mount the aerial when there is also a bar. Where they mounted at the same time? The ARB Bullbars have a number of sports to mount an Aerial and if you run out of those because you have put an FM aerial or sandflag then you can also buy an aerial bracket to fit around the bar to provide additional mounting points. If, when mounted, you have enough aerial cable available, I would look at moving it forward onto the bar, but then that would depend upon the size of the aerial. Is it a little rubber ducky or a larger fiberglass style aerial?

The ARB Bar comes with two antenna holes, one each side on the left and right wing of the Bullbar. Being lower on the bullbar can affect propogation of the radio waves, therefore there are a couple of options available to you, being a taller antenna, or a higher dB antenna. I live with a 6.5dB antenna mounted on the passenger-side wing of the bullbar.
It takes a bit of effort, but you will need to remove the lower passenger side steel cover underneath the bullbar just in front of the tyre. Once removed, you can easily get to the antenna mounting underneath the bullbar. For most standard selling antennas you will get enough coaxial cable to put the radio any where in the front of the Prado, inlcuding under either seat.
Good luck.
