Have just found this thread.
I stopped buying 4X4 Action about 12 months ago. Too may ads in comparison with the amount of interesting content, not enough articles on regular 4X4 activities and travel (as opposed to the mega-rich overindulging their machines, or hairy chested bush bashing) and what seemed like an increasingly "Ocker" tone which appeared directed to taking the magazine more down market.
I was given a subscription to Overlander for Christmas and really enjoy the magazine and the editorial style.
