My mower has died and I am now looking at purchasing a new one.
I am after peoples recommendations on what to buy and some feedback on whats out there?

We don't have a mower shop in town so has to be a trouble free if possible :wink:

Hi Chuck,
I have had my Honda OHV 4 Stroke SP Buffallo for 14 Years and is now only loosing compression, I have had the cylinder head off once, and adjusted valves once, I source all my parts via internet using a US parts catalogue for wheel bearings, get blades, air cleaner etc. It is a heavy bugger but has served me well, it has done about 1700 Hrs work would not go past another HONDA mower, the OHV Honda Engine is the one to look at, the new OHC Honda engines are throw away items with integral cylinder head, built to nock off the cheap chinese imports!
However I do like Chippy's prefered option

Well Honda has won, picked it up yesterday.
Honda dealer was very helpful and has a full range of Honda mowers.
Its also the only place that will service mowers here if something should go wrong.
