  • Purple Prado...

Spotted this on Kelvin Grove Road (Brisbane) the other day; apologies for the picture quality, its the best I could manage with the iPhone whilst driving

Undoubtedly a custom paint job, not really my colour pick, but each to their own I suppose.

Yeh its that new commodore purple, I have seen it parked near the Roma St transit centre a few times. Personally if going to the trouble I think you could find a better colour, although I reckon the money could have better spent on other mods.

As they say though to each their own.

I'll need to keep an eye or two out for this one, but I rarely get over to the Northside at that time of morning.
The plate shows that it was bought at Sci-Fleet Motors, maybe still serviced by them.
And I thought Flinders Red was an interesting colour?

Why would you its not a patch on the Southside just look at what the Prado owners do to their trucks Cadbury purple 8) Although its not as bad as over the border

On topic everytime I have seen it, it has been in the city centre

Easy colour to find at the Hypermarket or the car park at Eli creek.

                        Re: Purple Prado...

Definitely a northside vehicle, I come across this vehicle nearly everyday, late in the afternoon travelling along Kelvin Grove Road. I'm with Boof, the money spend on the paint job can be better utilise for more useful offroad modifications.

Then again, it would look better with a Pradopoint sticker.

No Fair!! They stole my idea! I have always said to my other half that if something happens and we require a new paint job I'm gonna paint the prado purple. Now I guess I'll have to do it pink.

                               Now now boys,

There is nothing wrong with purple! isn't that right BPC?
Just means they are displaying the fact to the world that they are sexually frustrated! :P
Sorry is i get edited by the mods!

At least they made the good decision to buy a PRADO!

Shows they have at least 1/2 a brain

And you are right it would look much better with a PP sticker.
