    Seasons Greetings - Christmas 2009

    With Christmas fast approaching and family commitments making time scarce I thought I'd get in early and wish you all a Merry Christmas, I hope it's filled with good times, family, friends and all the things that make this time of year so special.


    For those of you travelling this holiday; safe journeys.

    Same to you Mick, we will be one of those doing the long haul trip. We are leaving on Tuesday around 11:30am to drive to Coober Pedy where will be overnighting at the Mud Hut Motel. Wednesday we will be traveling to Cobar staying overnight at the Town & Country Motel. The Thursday we will be at our house in Tanilba Bay until the afternoon of the 28th of december when we are traveling down to Huskisson on the South Coast of NSW to stay with my wifes sister & Husband. Then on the 1st of Jan we will be driving back to Alice stopping overnight at Port Augusta.

    So have a safe and merry Xmas and a fantastic New Year everyone and we will see you on the forum in 2010.

      Well from myself, Lacey and the kids we would also like to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope you all get what you want from the fat man in the red suit.

      We will be staying home this year for a change, as we just spent a fortune on our backyard and they can now come to us. Just going up to our property in Rylstone for some maintenance on the fences that the damn horses seem to destroy all the time.

      Take care on the road mate. It never ceases to amaze any of us how far you always seem to travel. Toyota should be giving you cars to do the heat and long distance testing on and not those techo's from overseas.

      I for one, am a great fan of Qantas and Avis.

        Lynne and I would like too wish everyone a merry christmas and safe travels to all. This is our first Christmas away from our families and close friends so we have an orphan Christmas planed with all the people we have met and are traveling aswel up in Darwin, we are really looking forward to it no presents, no driving to 40 different places on Christmas Day and even better no work until Sunday 8) 8) 1st Christmas Day off in 15 years hospitality sucks some times :evil: . So It will be good times around the pool and BBQ and crispy cold beer with good company and I can even watch the 1st day of the boxing day test broken up with a few Nanna naps thrown in.

          Merry Christmas to all & sundry on PRADOPoint. Although I've yet to meet any of you in person I have found great cameraderie, advice, ingenuity & genuineness on this great forum. Mrs. Sunday & I will be staying home this Christmas with family & friends but looking forward to more travels later in 2010. Might even get the opportunity to say g'day in person to some of you (though too late to register for 2010 GTG I think).

              yeah merry christmas and happy new year to everyone on here and their families, travel safe over the holidays and i hope santa brings plenty of pressies for the prado, after all they r all nice and not naughty :roll: cheers samo :wink:
              had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

                      Thanks Mick et al.

                      Being a relative newcomer since getting our Prado in February, I've found this forum exteremly helpful with setting up our vehicle, and the courtesy and bonhomie excellent. A lot of this is down to the moderators of course but mainly because people that drive Prados are very nice people.


                      Wherever you're going or whatever you're doing, make it a safe one and I hope to meet some of you on the tracks in 2010.

                      We'd like to go find time for a bit camping and canoeing in Glenelg NP, but we'll see. Maybe see some of you there.
