I'd love one of the new VE's done up by Walkinshaw (engine included not just the bodykit). Those are killer!
However after owning a commodore I'd never buy one again. Would also never buy a ford.
Best way to test the reliability of a car is to find the appropriate forum, check out the mechanical section and see how many 'How do I fix...." threads there are. Well, there's a dumbar#e here who not only paid $150 grand for one, he had the bloody thing re-painted before delivery because he couldn't get the colour he wanted from the factory. Then he spent another $30 grand or so on the engine. JUST BECAUSE HE CAN.
Yes, it's still only a Commodore - but a bloody fast one at that. You'll probably be able to buy it a couple of years for $50 grand.Dave

commodore r just like any other car, they have their problems, 2 thing to remember if you have a commodore, vt or earlier you will end up doing 2 things, rear main oil seal and steering rack. cheers samohad an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.Comment
