Been a computer gumby i need some help, i notice a lot of you have a bottom of your signature as an example "my build up -here" and when you click on it, it takes to the link/post for that topic. How is this done????

Easy:
Copy the website link from the URL line.
Paste the link into your post.
Select the website address in your post and then click on the "URL" button at the top of the post window.
Then delete and replace the first appearing "]" symbol with "=".
Then add a "]" symbol at the end of the website address.
Now write whatever words you want to appear as the hyperlink between the middle "]" and "[" symbols.
For example: url]http://pradopoint.com/posting.php?mode=reply&f=1&t=9081&sid=cead4a2e6f62 da3835ad07377e8ba2bf]Test Hyperlink[/url
*** Note: I have removed the "[" symbols at the start and and of this link for the purposes of not making it work as a hyperlink and to allow you to see how it should look in your draft post.

NTP, now u have me more confused, you are talking "url" ???
By url do you mean the address and if so it has no [ ] in it, the example below is my build up link.
http://www.pradopoint.com/viewtopic.php ... =7635#wrap, i cannot see the [ ] that u are talking about to replace and type between ?????[b]Rob[/b]

you would do it like this Hutch's Build Up
I have had to enter it below without the beginning [ and end ] to make it display, so just copy this and add the brackets -
