Site performance

Anyone else noticed a deterioration in the sites performance or is it just me? I'm constantly having to refresh or use the Board Index option to get things moving again after things just hang there.

Most times this morning only the first three topics load up ie General Discussion, Get together and Campfire. Its not until I do a refresh or select Board Index several times that the rest of the board loads up. Been like it for several days as far as I am concerned.

I have been seeing a lot of issues where the style sheet is not displayed and it all comes out grey OR I get a lot of MySQL errors. Already had about two or three this morning while sitting here at work. I will capture a few screen shots of them in the future.

It has been running really slow this morning. At time it just "stalls".

Yeah also had some errors with very slow page fetching...

Still good for me and I just opened 20+ windows in one hit from various pages..

Its been down more than its been up of late. SQL Errors at stated, and also just continual timeouts. Does someone have access to the server to look at the actual logs (not sure if your hosting plan gives you access to this). If so im happy to review any logs if it helps (Fellow IT Engineer here!).

I have at times from work too. It does happen intermmitedly and some may see it happen and some may not. It could be on our end of things and not the server site. :wink:

Maybe but to get the same from both work and home. My work connection is big. I know we can suck down a 500Mb file in only a few minutes as I have done this a few times so it's not the link out of the office that is playing up.
