  • Storing a blackwolf turbo tent

I have Blackwolf Turbo 270 tent which is brilliant.

What really is pathetic is the transport bag it is supplied with. I find it a real bugger to get it back into the bag.I had the idea of trying a mr swagman double swag bag. I own a big swag and have a bag for that and it's brilliant.

I ordered a new double bag from Mark, and $109 with free delivery, the tent/poles/pegs/fly all fit like a dream. Very, very easy to pack away the tent now and I know it's protected well.

    Here is it - http://www.mrswagman.com.au/camping-swagbag.shtml

    My 2 cents..

We buggered the zip on our Turbo 240 bag after about 18 months trying to fit it back in. I will also get a canvas bag made for it (a bit bigger).

You may want to speak to Klaus at 'In Front Camping'. He has custom made many canvas bags for me over the years at super chaep prices.

Re: Storing a blackwolf turbo tent

Have never had a problem putting the turbo back into it's bag.

What issues did you have Matt? I wonder if you had the correct bag supplied with your tent?

Pretty basic issue.. It wouldn't go back in without a fight. Problem sorted now and I learned alot also from the instructional videos posted as well.

Hi, time for some thread mining. After a lot of looking at different tents, I have decided on Turbo 240 Plus tent. ( not sure of canvas or the poly one yet)
Anyway Matt how do you store the bag? Just lenthways on your roof rack or from the meaurements it should fit across the back seats east to west I expect.

              Cheers

Fits either way, as well as inside the back across the width of the load area.
