Re: NSW: stockton beach - sunday April 24th
Was a great day at Stockton, weather was perfect, the prado reported a maximum of 28 Deg just after lunch!!!
Waiting on my mate to send through photos in the next day, but managed to bog myself on a sand hillclimb, just short of the top, almost upto the doors!!!. Maxtraxx didnt work, winching off a 200 on the top of the hill didnt work either. After about 30 mins of digging with the maxtraxx and the 200 nearly getting bogged manoeuvring to eventually snatch me out backwards down the hill. All in all, lots of laughs and lots of fun had by all. The only casualty is now my Stability light is on so ive obviously done something to a wheel sensor when bogged I guess. Will post photos when I get a chance. My Rig: 150 GXL D4D, Tough Dog adjustable suspension with 60mm lift, Polyair bags, ARB Winch Bar, Warn Winch with Dynamica Rope, Outback Ideas recovery points, GME UHF, HID Low/High Beam, Lightforce Genesis HID Spots, Dual Battery Setup with rear power outlets, ARB air compressor in engine bay, ~30L Watertank mounted behind fueltank.
