At least the petrol gets there 30 minutes ahead of the diesels and is fueled up and waiting to continue on... towards the next petrol station
With my chip-it chip and 3 inch exhaust on the D4D we are only waiting for the petrols to refill but we have time to open up the camper we are towing and have a sit down morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea while we wait for the petrool to catch up.
Relaxing really.

Our 6 year old and 3 year old try their hardest to make sure there is no time or money for the other baby
Some of my photos from the trip.
Andrew's Bush Directions were almost missed!
My broken-in rear end (yes I can finally say I have recovered Andrew AJ120!)
Rob a LONG way from the top, attempting to winch up (fail)
Mal's stake in between the rim and bead
Of concern was a little issue on the tracks where Adam’s (ondaboat) Prado mysteriously rolled BACKWARDS into my bull bar, luckily only a reputation was injured….
Brad/Amanda – that is was happened, really. Having no photos of said incident there will be no further discussion on this matter.
More shots to follow.
Cheers
Micheal.

That picture is not of you recovering me Michael, that is a picture of you recovering Rob in his fancy grande, I was close enough to the top I didn't need a winch extension strap.
So it begs the question, If 120D4D recovers (well is used as an anchor point) AJ120 and there is no photo to prove it; did it really happen
A number of good shots Michael, would be happy if you could email me a full size of the campfire shot.
Cheers Andrew

Good point Andrew I recall something to do with trees falling in the forest and making no sound if no one hears it.
As it appears I do not have a photo of you winching off me it may not have happened. Am happy too see a photo is one exists but perhaps it was lost with the (unpublished) fridge shot...
Email coming Andrew.
Cheers

That's not the way i saw it happen! I believe it had something to do with a not properly applied handbrake and a prado rolling FORWARDS... but i wouldn't want to ruin your reputation so we will go with your story. Adam reuined his reputation on is own the whole weekend anyway so this shouldn't do any worse damage. How is your lovely Mother in Law going anyway Adam?

Yes, I do recall no-one wanting to be in front of Mike after that event!!!!!! The Prado version of "backs to the wall, here comes Mike" That would be the same Mike that had those cutout pictures of Paula Abdul and claiming "nah, she is my wife, I am married and Steve is my brother in law and here are the pictures of my kids" (who looked remarkably the same as the kids off different strokes, what you talken bout Mike )
