Hi all. We are 2 and a half months into our round oz trip. No time limit and no real plans, just have to find some work on the way. Right now we are in Carnarvon WA heading north. Our home on the road is an Australian Off Road Campers Odyssey (hard floor camper). Would love to catch up with any Pradopointers on the way. Lobbed into Darwin last week and got myself a job today. I went into 7 places(4 panel shops) and was offered a job at 3 of them, start ASAP! The other 3 places I tried were ARB, TJM and Opposite Lock, cause I thought I might get a cruisey job fitting accessories but they didn't need anyone. So looks like I'm back to panelbeating again. Coonawarra Panel Works for a month or so.
Got our camper set up at KOA caravan park in Malak, about the only place we could get into for any length of time in Darwin. I can't believe how few caravan parks there are here. I think there's more in Kununurra!
Got our Prado booked into Toyota on Monday to check out a cold run rattle, pretty sure it's injectors. Not happy as it's only just clocked over 100000km.

You lucky Buggers, we,ve been thinking of selling up $ hitting the road on a rnd Oz trip,
Trying to get a few things sorted, & then go.

I suppose it's time for an update.
Got the car fixed(injectors as posted in the rattle thread), went to Bali and then back on the road. Left Darwin and spent 5 days looking around Litchfield NP, then Douglas Hot Springs, Katherine Gorge, Mataranka and Bitter Springs which was beautiful(heaps better than Mataranka). Then on down the highway to the Devils Marbles then back track a little to get on the Binns Track to Policeman's Waterhole for a couple of days. Gemtree was our next stop(crap showers, dusty and exxy for what you get).
Now we are in Alice Springs for a couple of nights before we head out to Ruby Gap and the east Macdonald ranges.
Gradually making our way south for the GTG at the end of the month.
