NSW: Ben Bullen SF (or thereabouts) MONDAY 3rd

Well I think it's time for another trip into the mountains wet of Sydney, and with the long weekend coming up I reckon Monday will make for a good day.

Where: Ben Bullen SF / Gardens of Stone NP region. I haven't explored many of these tracks so I figure why not do it this trip. Ben Bullen SF is located west of Newnes, and North of Lithgow.

When: Monday 3rd October

Meet: Blackfellows Hands Cave Carpark at 9:30. Those coming from Sydney may like to meet up at say Richmond Macca's as per usual before heading across the mountains.

UHF Channel: 28

can meet you either at Zig Zag carpark or at the start of the track on the Wolgan Valley Rd. north of Lidsdale. It's opposite Blackfellows Hand Track:

Yeah I was thinking we would head up that track and follow the ridge along, hopefully we can make it a fair bit further along the track than last time!

How about I meet you (and any other sydney-siders) at the Blackfellows Hands cave car park? That will save us heading through Newnes, which could be busy on the Public Holiday. What time do you reckon you could get there. Does 9:30 give you enough time to get across the mountains?

Yep sounds good to me Jeff, will meet you at Blackfellows cave carpark, should be there probably around 9:30-10am if we get away from Richmond macca's just after 8am..

Hi Guys
I would love to tag along, but at the moment my wife has half made plans for us for the weekend. If those plans fall through I might be free on Monday. My son and I went in that area from the Zig-Zag end in July, found the glow worm tunnel but couldn't find the lost city - but he is working on Monday and can't come this time. Can I post yes or no Sunday arvo? Meetng at Maccas in Richmond would be good if I can come.
