I'm looking for some ideas of where to go camping around XMAS/NY.
Somewhere 4 to 10 hours drive north from Sydney, with water for a little dip, the more isolated the better, and a little 4x4 thrill would of course be ideal. Facilities not requried.
Is there anything up that way which would make a "must see" list?
All I've come up with is Oxley Wild Rivers N/P, or going much further to Fraser Island.
